Fairy Fun

Today was a beautiful spring day in Melbourne.

Warm (24 degrees). Sunny. A light breeze.

The perfect day to play outside.

This afternoon, Grace decided to be a fairy, and dance around the garden. She found her fairy skirt and wings, and wore her fairy slippers inside her normal shoes.

Not to be outdone, Charlotte dressed up in a skirt and lei I found. (A new fairy costume is hiding in the gift cupboard until her birthday).

Grace danced with the freedom and abandon of a happy little three-year-old girl.

A born performer, she also enjoyed hamming it up for the camera.

Charlotte has three eye teeth coming through at the moment, and is a little more subdued than normal. At first she stayed close to me and just watched Grace.

But it didn't take long for her to get into the spirit of things, and she was soon flashing her megawatt smile.

After a string of cold, wet weather it's lovely to be outside again. The next few months should be a lot of fun!
